Finding sensible solutions for the world's energy needs is challenging. Optimally, we want our products to fit right into the current infrastructure so that it doesn't incur additional capital costs and incur long waiting periods before the product gets to the market. In conjunction, the product should have a high energy density. Liquid fuels such as alcohol and ethanol have less energy per unit volume than petroleum based fuels.
The fuels that Carbonaceous is developing have at least the same energy density as current aviation fuels.
